About me

Rachel Surprenant, ND IFMCP

Dr. Rachel Surprenant is a licensed naturopathic doctor, providing integrative and personalized care to each patient. She prioritizes evidence-based approaches to every individual’s health goals. Dr. S’s clinical interests include women’s health, hormone therapy, digestive complaints, mood disorders, and eating disorders.

When she is not at NHNM, Dr. Surprenant serves as an adjunct professor of health sciences at Franklin Pierce University. At FPU, she teaches biology, immunology, nutrition, and public health – teaching is a thinly veiled way for her to pursue her true love: learning and growth as a provider (and human).

Dr. Surprenant’s goal is to empower patients, students, and colleagues to attain their optimal physical and mental health. She accomplishes this through education, collaboration, and steadfast support, fostering a holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. S thrives on collaboration with your medical team, and believes you do, too.
